Miss Mother Hen! Ashlin is always watching over her little brother. Here she is joining him in watching Baby Einstien.

Not a day goes by where Addison isn't dressing up! It is not even worth dressing her for the day cause a half hour later she is taking it off. This day it was: a leotard, skirt, tights, legwarmers, slippers, a snowhat, and Ashlin's backpack. And she is so proud!

Always a smile on his face... he can brighten up anyones day with that smile!

The Past 2 weeks!

Ashlin my big 3 year old doing tap and ballet this year.

Ashlin at her first dance class where I think she talked more than she danced. She kept telling everyone that she was a pretty dancer and that her name was Ashlin.

Ashlin my little poser on her first day of preschool. She loves going and has no problem being gone from mommy for a couple hours.

Easton Dean Hughes

Easton Dean Hughes was born on Thursday, August 26th at 6:22 p.m. He weighed 5 lbs. 9 oz. and was 19 inches long. He was about 2 weeks early and the labor and delivery went very well. He is little and cute and we love him so much! The girls are so proud to have a little brother and they are such a big help (sometimes too much help).

He looks like a little peanut in the carseat! The straps wouldn't go any tighter so we had to roll a burp cloth and stick it between him and the buckle to make it tighter.

This little boy is definitely our little charmer!

Ashlin turned 3 on April 14 and I know I am a month late on the blog - but better late than never. She was so excited to turn three because she knows that means she gets to start preschool (which she calls "pretty school") in the Fall. She has grown so fast, but she has grown into a beautiful and very intelligent little girl. We enjoy watching her learn and grow and she adds so much laughter and happiness to our family. She is our big helper and loves teaching her sister Addison. Yet very independent and stubborn, she is a blessing to our family!

Ashlin (miss independent) didn't want any help. She loved decorating the eggs by herself. She is growing up way too fast.

As you can tell the girls enjoyed eating the candy more than anything. Both of them saying "cheese" with a mouth full of candy.

Addison had to keep up with her big sister and be quick to find eggs. If Addison didn't get to the eggs fast enough then her sister was there to help her out.

Ashlin loved finding eggs, but after finding each one she had to open them to see what was inside - and eat what was inside!

Addi will say "cheese" anytime there is a camera in front of her. She did not want to take off her new swimsuit and sunglasses from the Easter Bunny.

Ashlin and Addison off to find eggs at Grandpa Hughes' house - Ashlin ended up with 6 dollars after this egg hunt and Addison wanted to do it all on her own.

Not the greatest picture...but this is me at 16 weeks (which I am now almost 18). We now have exciting news that there will be a little boy added to our family. We are so excited and I can't wait for Ashlin and Addison to have a little brother. This baby was definitely a surprise to our family but he is already a blessing to our family. My due date is September 12 with Allison only about a week behind me.

Disney On Ice!

On Saturday evening 10 of us went to Disney on Ice - World of Fantasy and we had so much fun together! The 10 of us included myself and Ashlin, Grammy, Auntie Allison, Darci, Austin, Grandma Net, Aunt Erika, Brynlee, and Karlee. Ashlin had been looking forward to this for the past month. She sat through the whole show with a smile on her face, while talking to all of the characters - like they could really hear her :) While we enjoyed our night together at Disney on Ice, Daddy enjoyed his one on one time together with Addison.

Great Grammy and Great Papa were able to come up to Utah to spend some
time with the family for the holidays. Their 6 great grandchildren - so far :)

Ashlin really is going to be a good mother. Her new doll from Grammy and Papa
really cries, babbles, and sucks on the pacifier and bottle. She loves to rock her baby, change her
diaper, push her around in her new stroller, and everything else that goes along with being a mother.

It's not a Christmas without the son-in-laws getting an In N Out
T-shirt from my dad. Look at those smiles on their faces!

siblings and go sledding too - they weren't going to just watch everyone else have fun!

Ashlin loves to pose! Whenever she sees a camera, she always says "take a picture of me" and poses herself. She is trained well and I hope she can teach her sister:)

These were supposed to be Addison's 9 month pictures, but it happened closer to 10 months. I was more on top of it with Ashlin, so I am trying to be better.

This was Addison's first experience with spaghetti. She enjoyed playing with it more than eating it. I had to let her make whatever kind of mess she wanted for the first time...and maybe the last time. And believe me it was a mess, but fun watching her enjoy it.

Our Alaskan Cruise!

Cameron's parents took the family on an Alaskan cruise and we had a wonderful time. Yes, we took the girls and Ashlin kept us on our feet the whole time, but it was a nice family vacation. We enjoyed spending the time together as a family and everything was so beautiful!
